At the Foot of the Cross

Dear Parish Groups,

I am inviting you to gather "At the Foot of the Cross" once a month in the open field between the tollway and Ashford Point to show the world that we love the Lord Who died on the cross and rose for our salvation.

We're inviting you to take the big wooden cross from the parish hall and carry it across Ashford Point to the field, stand it up, and gather around it in prayer for one hour, 7:00-8:00pm on the second Thursday of each month. You can pray the Rosary, the Way of the Cross, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, or other prayers, and you can sing familiar hymns.  It's noisy out there so be ready, if it's dark, plan to bring battery-operated lanterns.

September 12, 2024 = Evangelization Team
October 10, 2024 = KC and Daughters of Isabella
November 14, 2024 = VN Eucharistic Youth and Vietnamese Groups
December 12, 2024 = Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe (no group "At the Foot of the Cross")
January 9, 2025 = Grupo de Oracion and Hispanic Groups
February 13, 2025 = Young Adults
March 13, 2025 = RCIA - English, Spanish & Vietnamese
April 10, 2025 = African Community of St. Justin Martyr
May 8, 2025 = That Man Is You

(June, July, August - Summer Break)

"At the Foot of the Cross" may we strengthen our own Faith and witness to it to those rushing along the tollway of life.
